Self-Portrait

At first, I really struggled with the concept of self-portraiture, because I don't enjoy looking at myself, but then I realized that there are many things and moments in my everyday life that are representative of me. There are places and actions that speak to my passions, character, and choices just as much as a picture of myself would, if not more so. And so this is an exploration of my character and passions through both myself and objects, and finding aspects that I can tolerate of both. As a bonus, I also used AI to manipulate a photo of myself into something more abstract and absurd, because it seemed like an interesting aspect to play around with.
